We are pleased to highlight one of our ELO Forum Speakers for 2026: Titi Akinsanmi. Titi will be speaking in all three Forum locations:
- Winnipeg - October 22
- Vancouver - November 4
- Toronto - November 18
Titi Akinsanmi is a globally recognized authority on the digital economy, specializing in the intersection of public policy, emerging technology, and institutional governance. With over two decades of experience, including a decade-long tenure as a senior leader at Google, she has been instrumental in shaping the regulatory frameworks that govern AI, data privacy, and digital infrastructure across international borders.
As a strategic advisor to C-suite executives and heads of state, Titi excels at navigating the "innovation-regulation" paradox. At Google, she served as the Global Lead for Generative AI Policy, where she translated complex technical roadmaps into actionable policy strategies, ensuring responsible product deployment while maintaining a competitive edge in high-growth markets.
Her expertise spans 50+ jurisdictions, with a particular mastery of emerging markets where she has successfully brokered multi-sectoral coalitions to drive digital transformation.
Beyond her corporate achievements, Titi is a sophisticated governance professional. She currently serves on the boards of Acces Employment Canada, the Yemi Shyllon Museum of Arts, and Junior Achievement Nigeria, bringing a sharp fiduciary lens to organizational scaling and digital equity.
Titi has also recently released a book on how to recognize the value you already carry and use it to claim your place in a world learning to work with intelligent machines, The AI-Ready You: Reclaiming Your Voice in the Age of Intelligence. Part memoir, part field guide, this is a book about reclaiming your voice and moving from access to agency: not merely being let into the room, but learning to help decide what happens in it.
At the Forums
Titi Akinsanmi will be speaking on the topic of Principles Before Platforms: What 26 Years at the Frontier of Technology Taught Me About Leading by Faith in the Age of AI.
This session will blend her previous journey of 12.5 years at Google and her current position as a global leader for generative AI policy. The core idea she has carried through every policy room is that we design rules on core principles, not on ever-evolving technology. For a Christian business owner, that translates simply to: Your business does not need an AI strategy first, it needs written non-negotiables that the technology must serve with integrity as the floor.
Forum attendees will leave with three practical things they can do in the next 30 days:
