We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jillian Gilbert and Dr. Wendi McGehee will be speaking at all three ELO Forums this year:
Both Dr. Gilbert and Dr. McGehee are certified LEGO® Serious Play® Facilitators. LEGO® Serious Play® (LSP) is a communication and problem-solving method designed to explore real issues in real time. LSP is a science-based process and draws on extensive research from the fields of business, organizational development, psychology, and learning. In LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, the LEGO® bricks serve as a common language that anyone can use, regardless of their education, position or culture and uses 3D visualization, metaphors, and stories to ensure that everybody’s knowledge and insights surface.
During their sessions at the Forums, attendees will experience the LSP method with hands-on activities, learn how the use of LSP supports adult learning, and discover the numerous ways LSP can be utilized with organizations, teams, and individuals.
Dr. McGehee is a dynamic innovator transforming the landscape of workplace learning, helping organizations rethink and reimagine their approach to people development. Blending hands-on experience from industry giants like Disney and The LEGO® Group with deep academic expertise, Wendi brings fresh perspectives to the challenges of organizational learning and professional development.
Dr. Jillian H. Gilbert is a distinguished leadership development expert, innovative educator, and strategic consultant with over two decades of experience transforming organizations and developing leaders. As Assistant Dean in the DeVoe School of Business, Technology, and Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University and a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Certified Facilitator, she brings a unique blend of creative methodologies and evidence-based practices to leadership development.
Their sessions are a unique, hands-on experience from certified leadership development experts where all attendees participate, everyone’s voice is heard, and everyone has ownership and authorship in the outcome. No LEGO® building experience necessary, just an open mind and a posture for serious play!
