Magdalen Oxford 2026From August 9th to 15th, our global cohort experienced world-class speakers, toured famous Oxford landmarks, and took site visits to local businesses and organizations.

Prof. Lord Nigel Biggar, Emeritus Regius Professor of Moral Theology at the University of Oxford, discussed "Cultivating Intellectual Virtues: A Way to Engage With Different Viewpoints" and his newest release, The New Dark Age.

Justin Brierley, Writer, Broadcaster, and Speaker, spoke on "The Art of Conversation" and "Surprising Rebirth of Belief in God."

Dr. Katy Granville-Chapman is Associate Fellow of the Oxford Character Project, a Teaching Fellow at the University of Oxford Department of Education, and Senior Fellow of The Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University. She discussed "Leadership for Flourishing."

SBS Oxford 2026Revd Dr. Philip Krinks, Director of The Centre for Enterprise, Market and Ethics (CEME), spoke on "Authentic Leadership in a Market Economy."

Dr. John Lennox, Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at the University of Oxford, spent two half-day sessions with our cohort. He participated in an interactive Q&A on "Societal Leadership: Being a Difference-Maker in Your Spheres of Influence" and "Artificial Intelligence & The Future of Humanity."

Sir Dr. Andrew Pollard, Director of the Oxford Vaccine Group, Department of Paediatrics, University of Oxford, spoke on the subject of "From Lab to Market: Lessons Learned from COVID-19 & its Aftermath."

Dan Maudhub, Founder of the Wonderful Group, did a session on "Faith, Entrepreneurship & Innovation in the UK: An Insider's View from the Frontline." He also hosted a panel Q&A with four UK entrepreneurs:

Site Visits to Local Businesses and Organizations

Our Program took place at the Saïd Business School, the business school at the Social Sciences Division of the University of Oxford. 

This year's cohort took a site visit to the Oxford Science Enterprises (OSE), a pioneering force in venture creation, and met with the heads of four main departments in the organization. Unlike traditional venture capital firms, OSE operates as a “venture builder,” actively involved in the formation and growth of companies rather than simply providing funding.

IM Group Oxford 2026We also took a trip to IM Group in Birmingham and met with Andrew Edmiston, Managing Director. The cohort engaged in an extensive Q & A session with Andrew and received a tour of their impressive new facility and offices called The Gate.

We then took a trip to Stow-on-the-Wold, Costwolds, where we had afternoon tea at The Old Bakery Tea Room, owned and run by Alan and Jackie Slough, as a ministry to their Christian faith and family story.

 

Our Mission

The mission of the ELO Oxford Leadership Program, since 2018, has been to deliver the world’s premiere executive education for Christian marketplace leaders. The quality of instructors, atmosphere, and cohort is unmatched. Attendees walk away with a renewed sense of calling, shaped by the wisdom of world-class speakers, meaningful conversations, and the transformative experience of spending time in Oxford.

Next year's program will take place from Sunday, August 8th, to Saturday, August 14th.
