About the Presenter
Kyle Thompson is an accomplished entrepreneur and servant-leader with 30+ years in media, marketing, and production, focused on the faith-and-values film sector. After a decade in independent film marketing—beginning with The Passion of the Christ—he founded Catalyst Resource Group in 2014, a leading agency serving faith-based audiences.
Kyle has led marketing for more than 60 theatrical and streaming releases, grossing over $1.5 billion, including Jesus Revolution, I Can Only Imagine, Hacksaw Ridge, War Room, Heaven Is for Real, and Son of God. He recently served as Senior Faith Advisor for Amazon Prime Video’s Wonder Project and continues on the Wonder Faith Council.
Under his direction, Catalyst has launched ventures such as Catalyst Movies, Sermon.net, and Catalyst Missions Group, partnering with nonprofits like Compassion International, Focus on the Family, and major studios including Lionsgate, Sony-Affirm, Warner Bros., and Disney/20th Century.
Earlier, Kyle helped pioneer church licensing and outreach for Provident Films, spearheading programs that brought faith films to tens of thousands of congregations and developing groundbreaking campaigns for Fireproof, Facing the Giants, and The Passion of the Christ.
Throughout his career, Kyle has leveraged media innovation and strategic marketing to empower faith communities and amplify stories of hope worldwide.
