About the Presenter
Kindree Chescoe is a Canadian entrepreneur, award-winning designer, speaker, and founder whose work sits at the intersection of business, creativity, product development, faith, and social impact.
She is the founder and principal designer of KLC kre-a-tiv, a design firm known for creating peace of mind through thoughtful, highly personal design. Over the past 18 years, Kindree has built KLC across legacy residential projects, commercial spaces, multi-family developments, and now product design through the launch of the FILL THE GAP COLLECTION.
Kindree’s path into entrepreneurship did not begin in a boardroom. It began at 17 in theatre, video, and the creative arts, where she founded Thysia Productions and received awards for directing and screenwriting. That early creative leadership shaped the way she still builds today: with vision, conviction, and a deep understanding of how people experience a room, a story, a product, a business, and each other.
Before founding KLC, Kindree also helped build an insurance brokerage firm, giving her a strong foundation in business, relationships, service, and practical leadership. Today, her work continues to expand beyond design through the FILL THE GAP COLLECTION, a product line created from seeing what was missing in the marketplace and deciding to build it, and the kre-a-tiv Vault, an upcoming platform that matches homeowners and design professionals and trades.
Kindree’s work is shaped by her faith and by a simple but powerful conviction: people come first. Whether she is leading a client, building a team, developing a product, speaking to leaders, or launching a new initiative, her goal is to bring clarity, courage, care, and excellence into the room.
She is also the founder of Calling On All Good Men, a registered charity and charitable society focused on preventing sexual violence by equipping men, especially athletes, to lead with strength, respect, and courage. Through this work, the Calling On All Good Men team is calling men to stand together, protect what matters most, and become part of the solution before harm happens.
Kindree is not only a creative leader. She is a builder, a business owner, and a faith-shaped entrepreneur who turns conviction into real-world action. At the center of her life and leadership is her faith, her love for people, and her two adult children, who are one of the greatest joys in her life. Outside of building businesses and leading new initiatives, she is happiest outdoors, staying active, and making space for the people and purpose that matter most.
