About the Presenters
Dr. Jillian H. Gilbert is a distinguished leadership development expert, innovative educator, and strategic consultant with over two decades of experience transforming organizations and developing leaders. As Assistant Dean in the DeVoe School of Business, Technology, and Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University and a certified facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method, she brings a unique blend of creative methodologies and evidence-based practices to leadership development.
In addition to her role in the School of Business, Jillian serves as the architect and director of the Leadership by Design Center at Indiana Wesleyan University, where she has successfully launched groundbreaking leadership development initiatives that have impacted hundreds of professionals across diverse industries. She has led workshops with multiple Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 organizations.
Dr. Gilbert holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University, complemented by degrees in Organizational Leadership and Applied Communication. Her research focuses on leadership identity development, organizational development, change, innovation, and the transformative power of play in adult learning and development. She is particularly known for her expertise in cross-generational workforce dynamics and learning strategies.
Her work seamlessly bridges academic excellence with practical application, making her a trusted advisor for organizations seeking to develop authentic, effective leaders in today's complex business environment.
Wendi McGehee, Ph.D. Leveraging her experience across iconic organizations, including Disney, The LEGO® Group, and higher education institutions, Dr. McGehee now leads innovation and strategic initiatives at the DeVoe School of Business, Technology, and Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University.
A certified facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method, Stanford d.school-trained Design Thinking practitioner, and published author on creative confidence and serious play, Dr. McGehee has led workshops with multiple Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 organizations. She believes in the power of serious play as a tool to help organizations find sustainable solutions to their complex challenges, improve communication, and build next-level team environments.
Dr. McGehee has a Ph.D. in Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University and advanced studies in Data Analytics from the London School of Economics.
